Cuddle

Every drop of water is a tiny little lens
a prism where the photons scatter and bend
when you have a lot of drops, the light diffuses
and we see white with greyish hues
in clouds and storms and wet weather systems.
But this is a symptom of how we do vision.
If we had super eyes that could zoom way in
we'd see that a cloud has rainbows within!
Tiny little glimmers of every single color
bouncing around the cloud mixing with each other
a rave for the sky, a party for the clouds
when the base drops out all the rain falls down
and if we're lucky the sun hits in just the right way
and they light up the sky with one final display.
